Inspired by the amazing scenes and topography of the Banks Peninsula - myself, Janie Porter (painter) and Jane McCulla (ceramacist) have joined forces to showcase our creations through the wonderful Little River Gallery. Unfortunately, due to the massive floods that have recently brought a state of emergency to this area we are now unable to showcase the work physically. However, not to let this put us off, we are all putting our positive energy into hosting the show online. The works will be able to be viewed at each artists studio and sales will be channelled through Little River Gallery as usual. Pre-sales are possible and the show will be on their website from 10am on Saturday 28th February until March 23rd. Another hugely successful 2025 Christmas show at Gallery de Novo saw all four of my small round works sold. This annual Around Christmas exhibition has delighted buyers for many years and I'm proud to be part of it. Thanks to the team at Gallery de Novo.

I'm delighted that this new large original called 'Te Waihora at Sunset' was sold at this years New Zealand Brain Research Institutes annual fundraiser. Inspired by a chance sighting on an evening trip over to Banks Peninsula I knew I would have to paint it one day. Lake Ellesmere (Te Waihora) has majestic views across to the Southern Alps and the Rail Trail runs alongside the edge of the lake. This year NZBRI raised over $48,000 due to the hard work of the volunteers who organize such a wonderful event - Art meets Music. A truly awesome sight captured forever. There can be 20 quality limited edition (hand-signed) prints made to various sizes made of this original.
