Over the summer months I have been eyeing up a lovely wall of hydrangeas in a close neighbours garden. In fact I have been admiring this large corner hedge for years but this summer has been the hottest for many years and somehow they looked even better than ever. With my neighbours permission I picked a big armful of flowers with beautiful blue and pink hues and took a huge number of photographs. Starting the new year, I am working on a number of canvases of varying sizes to capture the beauty of these wonderful flowers. Every time I see them I think 'Summer" Watch this space, this is the first in the series and early in the creative process. Hope you enjoy them as much as me.
